Kicking off this Friday 24th November 2017, Queenscliff Music Festival is set to hold its annual weekend of camping, culture, food and eclectic acts – both international and local. With multiple stages, the line-up is packed with outfits such as Andrea Robertson Band, Yothu Yindi, Xavier Rudd, The Bamboos, and Bernard Fanning to name a few.
Arriving By Water
Festival-goers can arrive by water by catching the ferry or by docking boats at Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club. The Yacht Club has two wharves (North and South), each catering for approximately 35 boats (maximum of 3 boats deep). Larger, deeper draft boats are advised to use the South wharf.
Download Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club’s Handbook for an arrival’s guide and wharf fees. Contact the Yacht Club on 0419 315 950 24-48 hours prior to arriving to notify them. Those coming by boat should also aim to travel to and from Queenscliff during flack tide wherever possible as the entrance via the river can be quite choppy during these times.

Queenscliff alone has plenty to do, such as The Arts Trail, local galleries, and boutique markets, which are easily accessible to those wanting a breather from the festival.
If you’re newly visiting this part of Victoria, the Maritime Museum is worth scoping. Described on trip advisor by one patron as “the hidden gem of Queenscliff”, allow for at least an hour to sift through their evolving collection of historical artefacts. Family-friendly tours are also available, provided they are booked two weeks prior.
