With summer just around the corner it’s easy to start daydreaming about days out on the bay and your next boating adventure.

Hidden Harbour is nestled within Martha Cove at the base of Mount Martha, which means that we are surrounded by some of the best places you can visit whilst out on your boat. We offer direct deep-water access to the bay and are close to a number of spots for fishing, swimming, sailing and snorkelling.

The Pillars, Mount Martha

Promising spectacular scenery with beautiful sandstone rocks, The Pillars is famous for cliff diving and snorkeling. It’s located between Deakin Drive and Marguerita Avenue in Mount Martha, but due to rapidly increasing popularity parking here can be a real challenge. So we definitely recommend taking the boat out and accessing The Pillars from the water – you’ll be the envy of everyone else!

Top Spots to Take Your BoatSnorkeling on the Mornington Peninsula

As indicated above, The Pillars are a great place to snorkel, but it does tend to get a little crowded. If you are looking for a bit of quiet time you can snorkel from Frankston right through to Portsea. If you are a beginner we recommend the 200-metre long Octopuses’ Garden trail with its underwater signs alongside Rye Pier. Experienced divers may like to explore the various shipwrecks that lie along the coast.
